Creating Dashboards Analyst+

You can create new dashboards directly from the Dashboards home page. Nucleus uses AI to build the dashboard for you based on what you need.

How to Create a Dashboard

  1. Click the Create New button on the Dashboards page.
  2. A contextual menu appears with suggested starting points:
    • Campaign Performance — Track delivery, pacing, and KPIs across campaigns.
    • Revenue Overview — Revenue trends, breakdowns by source, and period comparisons.
    • Audience Insights — Engagement patterns, demographics, and audience segments.
    • Something else — Describe what you want in your own words.
  3. Select an option or type a custom description.
  4. AI builds the dashboard with relevant KPIs, charts, and tables.
  5. The new dashboard appears under Your Dashboards on the home page.

You can also create dashboards from AI Chat. Just say something like “Create a dashboard showing revenue by campaign for the last 30 days.”

What You Get

AI-created dashboards include:

  • KPI cards at the top with key metrics and period comparisons.
  • Charts visualizing trends, breakdowns, or rankings.
  • Tables with sortable detail rows.
  • Tabs for different views of the data (see Tabs).

Editing After Creation

Once a dashboard is created, you can refine it by asking AI Chat to add tabs, change charts, or adjust the time range. There is no manual drag-and-drop editor — you describe what you want, and AI handles the layout.

Who Can Create Dashboards

Dashboard creation requires the Analyst role or above. Viewers can open and interact with shared dashboards but cannot create new ones.
