Missing Data All Users
If a dashboard or report shows no data, or less data than expected, work through these checks.
Common Causes
Pipeline Delay
Data arrives in Nucleus approximately 1 hour after events occur. If you are looking at the current hour, the data may not have been ingested yet. Wait an hour and check again.
Date Range Out of Scope
The period selector may be set to a range with no data. Check that the selected dates overlap with when your data source was active.
Period Selector Set Wrong
If you see “No data” on a dashboard that normally has data, check the period selector in the top-right corner. It may be set to “Today” when the data you expect is from yesterday.
Data Source Not Connected
If a data source was recently added or reconnected, there may be a delay before historical data is available. New sources start populating from the connection date forward.
What to Do
- Check the period selector — switch to “Last 7 days” to see if any data exists.
- Try a different dashboard — if one dashboard is empty but others work, the issue may be specific to that data source.
- Ask the AI — type “Is there data for yesterday?” in the chat. The AI can check data availability directly.
- Contact your admin — if data is consistently missing, the admin can check pipeline status and data source connections.
Occasional short delays (1—2 hours) are normal and do not indicate a problem. Persistent gaps lasting more than a few hours should be reported to your admin.
