Data Analysis Analyst+
Nucleus gives analysts direct tools for exploring data beyond pre-built dashboards.
SQL Runner
The SQL runner lets you write ad-hoc queries against your platform data.
- Go to Data in the sidebar.
- Open the SQL Runner tab.
- Write your query and click Run.
- Results appear in a table below the editor.
You can export results as CSV or ask the AI to visualize them.
Queries run against a read-only replica and are scoped to your organization’s data. You cannot modify data through the SQL runner.
Uploading Files
You can upload CSV files to combine external data with platform data.
- Open the AI chat (Cmd+K).
- Click the upload icon or drag a file into the chat.
- Ask the AI to analyze it: “Summarize this file” or “Compare this with our campaign data”
Uploaded files are stored securely and only accessible within your organization.
AI-Powered Analysis
The AI can do the heavy lifting. Try asking:
- “Show me the top campaigns by revenue this month”
- “Which demand tags have declining fill rates?”
- “Compare this CSV against our Q1 revenue data”
- “Find anomalies in yesterday’s impression data”
The AI has access to your platform data, uploaded files, and 54 tools for charting, querying, and summarizing.
Combining Data Sources
When you upload a file, the AI can join it with existing platform data. For example:
- Upload a CSV of target CPMs by campaign.
- Ask: “Compare target CPMs with actual eCPMs for each campaign”
- The AI runs the join and returns a table with the comparison.
This is useful for benchmarking, reconciliation, and ad-hoc reporting without building a permanent dashboard.
