Reading Dashboards All Users
Dashboards are the main way to see your data in Nucleus. As a Viewer, you can browse all dashboards shared with your workspace.
Navigating Dashboards
- Click Dashboards in the sidebar to see available dashboards.
- Click a dashboard tile to open it.
- Use the tabs at the top to switch between sections (e.g., Overview, Campaigns, Revenue).
Understanding KPI Cards
KPI cards appear at the top of most dashboards. Each card shows:
- Value — the current metric (e.g., $12,450 revenue).
- Delta — the percentage change compared to the previous period, shown as a green (up) or red (down) indicator.
A positive delta means the metric improved. What “improved” means depends on the metric — higher revenue is good, but higher error rates would be bad.
Reading Charts
Charts show trends over the selected time period. Hover over any data point to see the exact value and date. Most charts support:
- Line charts for trends over time.
- Bar charts for comparisons between items.
- Area charts for volume over time.
Changing the Time Period
Use the period selector in the top-right corner to adjust the date range. All KPIs, charts, and tables on the page update to reflect the selected period.
What Viewers Cannot Do
As a Viewer, you can see everything that has been shared with your workspace, but you cannot:
- Create or edit dashboards
- Add or remove widgets
- Share or unshare tabs
- Delete dashboards
If you need to create dashboards or analyze data, ask your admin to upgrade your role to Analyst.
